Pupcakes

Today is our Dorothy’s 2nd birthday! Being a miniature dachshund, she especially loves her treats, and she just adores these little cakes! They are the perfect healthy, and delicious way to treat our furry friends on days like today. Happy birthday, sweet pup xoxoxo

 

Pupcakes! (makes 3 little cakes)

Cake:
1 Egg

2 tablespoons, Coconut Oil
1 mashed, ripe, Banana
1 cup, Porridge Oats
Topping:
3 tsp, Natural Peanut Butter
Fruits of your pup’s choice
Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees C or 350 degree F. Then place your three cupcake cases in your cupcake tin, ready to go!
In a food processor, whizz up the oats for about 20 seconds or until they have the consistency of flour.
Then in a large bowl, whisk the egg until frothy, with lots of air bubbles!
Add the rest of the ingredients, including the oat flour to your whisked egg, and mix together.
Spoon the mixture evenly into your cupcake cases, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Let cool completely- or wrap, and freeze to save and bring out on the day!
Once cooled, cover the top of each cupcake with a thin layer, about 1tsp, of natural peanut butter, and stick on sliced strawberries an blueberries….or apples or carrots or whatever your pup enjoys!
